The International Conference on Railway Timetable Arrangement for 2012/2013 Started

The International Conference on Railway Timetable Arrangement for 2012/2013 (WMPS) started on Monday, May 14, and will last till 18th May in Vrsac, and the organizer and the host of the first out of two conferences this year are “Serbian Railways”.

In the conference, where new international timetable for passenger traffic is being arranged, participate 12 representatives out of 25 members of Organization for Cooperation of Railways (OSŽD) : from Poland, The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Belorussia, Latvia, Moldavia, Montenegro and Kazakhstan, as well as the representatives of the OSŽD Committee from Warsaw. Railway administration delegations, represented by department managers, engineers and specialists, will discuss in the next 4 days details for the international timetable for passenger traffic that will be valid starting from 9th December 2012.

Pointing out that this international conference was also held in 2005 in our country, when “Serbian Railways” were also host to all representatives of Eastern European railway administrations.
