Under the slogan “Caution! Choose life!”, on November 11th “Serbian Railways” started officially presentation about the level crossing safety in schools in Nis. During the first round, the presentation will be held in nine schools from 10 to 12 November. It is planed, that the representatives of “Serbian Railways” hold this kind of lectures in more than 100 schools in 15 cities across Serbia.

The education of the youngest traffic participants started in “Ucitelj Tasa” school, which is the oldest school in this region.

During this lecture, multimedia presentation, that includes also education and entertainment, was presented to students, in order to indicate the danger and explain to them correct traffic behavior at level crossings. The lectures are interactive in order to make better communication with students and to achieve an adequate effect.

This presentation is part of an international awareness-raising campaign targeted at citizens to promote safety on level crossings, which was started on June 22, on the International Level Crossings Awareness Day, and which includes over 45 countries and railway managements all over the world. On that day, under the slogan “Caution! Choose life!”, “Serbian Railways” held public classes about the level crossings safety in 5 towns in Serbia.
