“Beginning of the sanitation of the railway-road portable bridge via Danube, in Novi Sad, on the main rail road Belgrade-Subotica, changes railway traffic organization from August 13 until November 20 -it was stated in the Passenger Service Department of the Serbian Railways.

Because of the bridge sanitation, rail line section Petrovaradin- Novi Sad will be closed for train traffic, from August 13 until September 27, from 11.40h-16.40h, and from September 28 until November 20 it will be closed for traffic from 10.30h until 16.40h.

Starting from tomorrow until November 20, the passenger train that departs from Belgrade at 10.35h to Novi Sad, from the Capital city will operate ONLY to Petrovaradin. The passenger trains that depart from Belgrade to Subotica at 11.00h and at 12.45h, will operate only to Petrovaradin, as well as on the relation Novi Sad-Subotica, departing from Novi Sad at 13.05h and at 15.38h, while between Petrovaradin and Novi Sad they WILL NOT OPERATE.

The train that departs from Novi Sad to Belgrade at 13.10h according to the time table, instead from Novi Sad it will depart from Petrovaradin at 13.19h, while the train that departs from Novi Sad to Inđija at 15.30h according to the time table, instead from Novi Sad it will depart from Petrovaradin at 15.39h. The passenger train that departs from Subotica to Belgrade at 10.25h, according to time table, will operate to Novi Sad only, as well as on relation Petrovaradin-Belgrade, with departs from Petrovaradin at 13.40h, while between Novi Sad and Petrovaradin it will not operate. The train that departs from Belgrade to Subotica at 16.40h will operate according to the time table, but in Novi Sad the passengers will have to move from electro-motor unit to the classic unit, about which they will be timely informed by the train crew during the drive.

International railway traffic on the main rail road Belgrade-Novi Sad-Subotica, as well as traffic of the other trains on this relation, will be performed according to the determined time table.

Road traffic and moving of the pedestrians and cyclists via portable bridge in Novi Sad will be completely closed from August 13, at 7.00h until November 20, because of the sanitation. The bridge sanitation will be performed by “Goša” from Smederevska Palanka.
