During this month, 50 repaired passenger coaches should be delivered. The coaches will immediately be introduced into domestic and international service – they said at Department of Traction and Rolling Stock Maintenance of Serbian Railways, in their statement for Media Center.

Every 18 to 24 months the coaches are being sent to general and running repairs, in accordance with Serbian and international regulations.

After an open public tender, the repairs have been allocated to “Zelvoz” from Smederevo and “Gosa” Holding from Smederevska Palanka. General repair of one passenger coach costs 1,8 million Dinars, while the running repair amounts 300 thousand Dinars, per coach.

The repair is being financed with Serbian Railways funds.
