At Tourism Fair in Novi Sad, Public Enterprise “Serbian Railways” was awarded two of the highest rewards, “Golden Prism 2006” for new quality in tourism, as well as the Charter of Vojvodina Chamber of Commerce and Novi Sad Fair for cultural-tourism offers.

On behalf of “Serbian Railways”, General Director Milanko Sarancic was awarded the prizes. He stated that these prizes act as a motivation, but also as an obligation. Sarancic emphasized that in the future it would take harder work in order to improve the quality of service.

“We successfully changed the image of “Serbian Railways” and triumphed over those who were gossiping about us even without any reason. At the end of year we will summarize the results and I am positive that we will be satisfied with achieved”, concluded Sarancic.

Charter of Vojvodina Chamber of Commerce and Novi Sad Fair was awarded to Media Center Director, Mile Lokas, for the graphic design of the Railway Newspaper “Pruga”. This prize has been awarded again, after several years.
