Director General of “Serbian Railways” handed over the keys to ten apartments for the railway workers in Lapovo.
The ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister Counselor, Branislav Ristivojevic.

The apartments were awarded to Bojan Parezanovic, Vojkan Mujkovic, Dragan Stojadinovic, Borica Stanojlovic, Dejan Racic, Stanislav Velickovic, Misko Maric, Mirjana Petrovic, Predrag Jovanovic and Slavica Milenovic.

Congratulating all new apartment owners, Sarancic said that this year they have already handed over 80 apartments to railway workers, but he also expressed his discontent for the prolonged realization of the project “1000 apartments”.

– I am not satisfied with the dynamics of our action “1.000 apartments”, caused by numerous obstacles of the Republic legal regulations, since this bureaucracy is an impediment for this important project, said Sarancic and expressed his hopes in better realization of the project in future.

According to his words, in 2007 several hundreds of railway workers should be given their apartments.
Prime Minister Counselor emphasized that in the next few years Republic Government would support even more these railway development projects, among which the action “1.000 apartments”.

Beside a great number of railway workers and citizens of Lapovo, the ceremony was attended by the Deputy Director General, Predrag Vukadinovic, Director of Investment Department, Vladimir Radic, Mayor of Lapovo, Dragan Zlatkovic with his associates, as well as the representatives of several Railway Unions.
