“Russian Railways International” Director General Sergej Aleksejevič Pavlov announced today at press conference, held in “Serbian Railways” library, signing of Contract on Realization of Russian loan between Serbian Railways and “RŽD International” .

– The Contract will be signed by “Serbian Railways” Director General Dragoljub Simonović and “RŽD International” Director General Sergej Aleksejevič Pavlov on Thursday, May 23, in Serbian Government- announced Mr. Pavlov at press conference.

According to Mr. Pavlov, Contract on Infrastructure Work Performance and DMUs delivery between Serbian and Russian partners will be realized in few stages and will consist of five parts. The first part includes construction of second track on Belgrade- Pančevo line, and the second six sections of Corridor 10, the third reconstruction of Stara Pazova – Novi Sad line, the fourth modernization of very important railway line Belgrade – Bar, while the fifth part of the Contract includes delivery of DMUs to “Serbian Railways”- said Mr. Pavlov.
After the signing ceremony, a photo exhibition “Russia seen from the train” will be opened on Kalemegdan.
