30 freight trains a day departing from Makis

Thirty freight railway garnitures, with 700 freight cars, are being formed every day at “Makis”, the largest railway center in South East Europe, – said Radomir Djerasimovic, Head of “Makis” Marshalling Yard.

According to his words, at the beginning of this year, great work volume has been achieved, last time recorded in 1992.

Railway sections with the most frequent service are: Makis towards Sid, Subotica and Nis, Dimitrovgrad and Presevo, all located at international Corridor 10, as well as the ones in the direction of Radinac, Pancevo and Vreoci.
