"Serbian Railways" Media Center representatives continued, during this semester, with lectures among primary school children on traffic safety at level crossing. Multimedia campaigns were held in primary schools during March and April in Novo Selo in Banat, Vladimirovac, Banatski Karlovac and Alibunar. I the first semester of the academic 2011/2012 year, presentation on safety were held on the territory of Belgrade city, primarily in Batajnica, Zemun, Čukarica, Palilula, Sasvki venac, and in Pančevo. During a year and a half, which presents a duration of the campaign "Caution! Choose Life!", lectures were attended by almost 14 thousand pupils across Serbia. Presentations on safe behavior on level crossings

were held in 26 cities and in 82 primary schools, such as in: Niš, Lapovo, Zaječar, Prokuplje, Kruševac, Pirot, Novi Sad, Ruma, Šabac, Zrenjanin, Kikinda, Vršac, Subotica, Sremska Mitrovica, Valjevo, Lazarevac, Lajkovac, Čačak, Kraljevo, Užice, Sevojno, Požega, Beograd, Pančevo.

A multimedia interactive presentation with educational and entertaining character is intended for younger primary school children, and its purpose is to educate the youngest primary school children, i.e. to point out dangers and to introduce pupils, as future active traffic participants, with proper behavior while engaging in level crossing.  

Campaign on level crossings safety is usually carried out in those schools which are in the vicinity of level crossings or railway line, but also in all other schools which want to join the campaign

Apart from multimedia presentation, action "Caution! Choose Life!" implies active cooperation with representatives of local authorities, and with local media which is one of the preconditions to achieve the expected results with this campaign, i.e. to increase safety in the traffic. In addition, "Serbian Railways" action is part of international campaign on raising awareness on safety on level crossings (ILCAD), which is carried out in over fifty countries in the world.
