Members of the General Meeting of Shareholders of “Serbian Railways” elected on the session held on July 1, 2011 Milovan Markovic, an electronic engineer, to be the Chairman of the Board and Director General of Joint Stock Company “Serbian Railways”.

Milovan Markovic is delegate of the Democratic Party in Serbian Parliament, Deputy Chairman of the Traffic and Connections Board and Member of Board for relations with Serbs out of Serbia within the parliament, as well as the Chairman of the Municipal Board of the Democratic Party in Valjevo.

Markovic was previously rendering the function of the Director of Construction Directorate in Valjevo.

He was born in 1954.
